Do I have to be a member to participate?

No! MISA's first meetings of the semester are open to all prospective members. After you get the chance to experience our value, you can begin paying dues to continue coming to meetings throughout the semester. Fall 2021 last non-member meeting is September 21st.

How often does MISA meet?

Check the calendar on the homepage for our scheduled events. Follow our social media links at the bottom of the page for updates.

Remote (during COVID): MISA schedules days for interviews and socials. This frequency will vary based on our speakers' and members' availability. We also will publish our meeting recordings online for members that are not available. 

Fall 2021 currently meets on Tuesdays at 5pm

How do I join a meeting for the first time?

Our meeting link will be published on our Google Calendar events (on the Homepage). We also will send MISA members the links through their email and Discord to participate in the events.

What value do I get from being a MISA member?

Membership is required after the first meetings of the semester. The paid membership grants you access to:

  • An archive of MISA meetings with companies and students

  • Leadership opportunities from joining the MISA Board 

  • Priority for the CIS scholarships.

  • Resources and workshops for job/internship searches
